WHO AM I?

My name is Nigel Rawse, a professional drummer / drum teacher based in Dronfield, Derbyshire. I have been teaching professionally for over 30 years and had students progress to full time careers in drumming, higher education including BIMM and Manchester Academy. I am fully accredited by Derbyshire County Council and deliver kit tuition and group ensemble work to several of the region's schools and community groups.
I have been fortunate enough to work with some incredible musicians over my career (Gary Powell - Libertines, Andy Levick - Mau Mous, Geoff Moore - Madison Educator, Mark Lickley - ABC) as well as television, theatre and festival appearances. I am also one of the founding members of Percussion Theatre, the UK's only Freestyle Drum Line.
